Daphné Budasz

Daphné Budasz is a PhD researcher at the Department of History and Civilization of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence. Her research deals with gender and sexuality in British East Africa in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and focuses on interracial encounters and the role played by Indian migrants in the region. Research aside, she is involved in several public history projects.
