Electronic music turns to active solidarity with a live-streamed DJ set from The Student Hotel in aid of Florence’s Civil Protection Service. Florentine Stefano Noferini, an internationally renowned DJ and techno legend, streams a DJ Set from the spectacular setting of The Student Hotel’s roof top, with the whole of the Renaissance city resplendent below, all in support of the Civil Protection Service activities locally. Irish artist Kevin Francis Gray exhibits sculptures presenting links between present and past, innovation and tradition, in the spectacular setting of the Stefano Bardini Museum. The gallery will be open on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 3-8pm. Visits will be by appointment only. Curated by Antonella Nesi, the exhibition is promoted by the Municipality of Florence and is organized by Mus.e in collaboration with Eduardo Secci Contemporary, generously supported by Moaconcept. American artist Allan Saint Denis is the star of this solo show. After studying at the New York Academy of Art, the artist then arrived in Florence to continue his creative journey. In his works, figures are hidden behind various veils, symbolic of those masks behind which we all hide. The intriguing works portray the vulnerability behind our veneers.
