Truffle Experience
Truffles and their many mysteries are at the centre of this rich, nature-filled experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Tuscan truffle hunters. Savini Tartufi comes from a family that has devoted their lives to truffles over four generations. The first day gives you a chance to meet the producers over an aperitivo to get to grips with the prized tuber and its curious characteristics, before you enjoy a perfectly curated truffle-themed dinner created by Executive Chef Alessandro Cozzolino, completed with a wine pairing by Prunotto of the historic Piedmontese winery estate in the prestigious Langhe wine area. The second day sees you set off to Savini Tartufi in Forcoli to take part in an authentic truffle hunt. A delectable lunch follows with Savini’s mouthwatering products and the season’s freshest truffles.

Tea with Dante
The Supreme Poet, Dante Alighieri, is honoured at Belmond Villa San Michele at 5pm on Tuesdays with an indulgent afternoon tea as you are treated to tales of love from the Divine Comedy and Vita Nova, read in Italian by actor Adriano Miliani.
