In response to the global health crisis and in an effort to support teachers of Italian schools as they adapt to changing education standards, Europass Teacher Academy in Florence is launching a series of new online courses for teacher training.

 

With a selection of over 40 courses accessible via online streaming, Europass Teacher Academy Online trains educators in the latest teaching tools and methodologies, including Creative Tech Tools – Google Programs for Online Teaching – Project-Based Learning – Flip your Online Lesson – Digital Tools for Language Teachers – Wellbeing in Schools: Positive Education and Mindfulness – Stress Management & Burnout Prevention for Teachers and Students, and many more.

 

 

 

 

“Now more than ever,” says David Baroni, head of Europass Teacher Academy, “schools are facing their greatest challenge yet. While on the one hand, the situation surrounding the pandemic has tried teachers’ abilities and altered the classroom environment, on the other, it has inspired innovation and experimentation in new and improved methods of teaching and the use of available technologies.”

 

Europass is dedicated to promoting the professional development of today’s teachers, as the largest provider of teacher training courses in Europe and an affiliate of the Erasmus+ mobility program. In the last ten years, Europass has trained over 20,000 teachers from around the world, at its headquarters in Florence and in its various other locations across Europe.
