Michelangelo’s Pietà is to undergo a six-month restoration financed by the Friends of Florence association. Work will remain visible to the public during the entirety of the restoration at the Opera del Duomo Museum.

Michelangelo’s Pietà is to undergo a six-month restoration financed by the Friends of Florence association.

 

 

Work will begin on November 23 and remain visible to the public at Florence’s Opera del Duomo Museum during the entirety of the restoration, which is expected to end in the summer of 2020.
