In 2021, the Vasari Corridor is expected to reopen to the public. Long closed to groups and only opened for private tours, the Corridor will soon fulfill its original role as a passageway between the Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Pitti.

The Vasari Corridor will be restored to its original appearance, offering a glimpse into the Renaissance architect’s vision when he built the passageway in the mid-16th century. This new chapter in the history of the Uffizi Galleries will present museum-goers with a tantalizing perspective on Florence and introduce visitors to one of the most famous displays of Medici power.
