Six favourite Florentine restaurants on Foodora

All’Antico Vinaio

The world-famous sandwich bar on via dei Neri brings its legendary panini to your home or office. Made by Tommaso Mazzanti and his staff, the new service is a way for locals and internationals to skip the line. The classics remain the same with the addition of the new Joe Bastianich, named for the U.S. television personality and a fan of All’Antico Vinaio.

Il Pizzaiuolo

One of Florence’s preferred pizzerias, now you have neapolitan-style pizza for lunch (and dinner) hand-delivered from this via dei Macci establishment. Opt for a simple Margherita or garlicky Marinara. Indulge with a spicy salami topped Diavola, old favourite Quattro Formaggi or a decadent Bismark, ham, mozzarella, egg and parmesan. The covaccino with burrata cheese and cherry tomatoes is something special!

Koto Ramen

Brunch on bentō, Japan’s boxed take-out wonder, from the city’s expanding modern Japanese eatery. Dig into Tonkatsu bentō, fried pork with cabbage salad, edamame, gyoza dumplings, rice and a matcha tea brownie as a sweet treat, or dive into a vegetarian-friendly Nanban bentō of marinated pumpkin with potato salad. Check out the sake list and have a bottle brought to your door —or just grab a Sapporo beer.

1950 American Diner

Established by Tristana Tramonti in 2011, have regular American-style diner dishes delivered to your home. A burger is the obvious choice, and there’s an array to choose from: sink your teeth into the Boss Burger, served with crispy bacon, melted Cheddar, jalapeno peppers and the diner’s special 1950 sauce, or maybe the famous Pig Bun, Deep South-style pulled pork with BBQ sauce and coleslaw.

Momoyama

A Japanese food institution in the Renaissance city, feast on high-quality sushi and sashimi, maki and sake from the borgo San Frediano restaurant. Impress clients with the Maxi Sushi Sashimi special or just treat yourself to California, Tako or Chilli Mazu rolls. Be inspired by the inventive food offerings such as ghioza meat-filled ravioli served with a spicy sauce, torikara chicken bites and yashi tempura.

Nima Sushi & Uramakeria

Think all things Japanese. Order the Sushi Lunch Box (uramaki and 2 nigiri of your choice) for lunch from this hip and happening Japanese outpost on the Novoli campus of Florence University. For dinner fill up with healthy options such as salmon poke, edamame beans, ramen, takitori, sashimi, sushi and uramaki, and so much more!
