In support of the crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter that Opera di Santa Croce will be running in partnership with The Florentine from November 17 to December 19, 2014, we have organized two exclusive events that will allow you to get to better know the landmark Pazzi Chapel. Both events have limited access and are expected to sell out quickly, so pick the one that works best for you, and sign up right away!

 

#CRAZYFORPAZZI TOUR

November 26, 6.15–7.30pm, free

Basilica di Santa Croce, piazza Santa Croce, Florence

Meet at the exit of Santa Croce, to the right of the façade.

Who were the Pazzi family and why is their chapel special? Learn about the history of this architectural landmark and about the restoration scheduled for its loggia, for which Santa Croce and The Florentine will be running a Kickstarter campaign. 15-minute slots at 6.15, 6.30, 6.45, 7 and 7.15pm, alternating English and Italian. Meet at the exit of Santa Croce, to the right of the façade.

A special photographic visit to Santa Croce and the Pazzi Chapel organised by @TheFlorentine, @SantaCroceOpera and @IgersFirenze, with the media partnership of @IgersToscana. This free one-hour tour (entry ticket included) is only open to active Instagram users, who will be given special beyond-barriers access to areas of the basilica and its famous Pazzi Chapel. Contribute visually to Santa Croce’s Kickstarter campaign for the restoration of the Pazzi Chapel loggia. Limited space available. Sign up at crazyforpazzi-nov29.eventbrite.it.
