Vezzo

To be used to (a habit). It can also mean a string of pearls.

Example: ‘Unnè vezzo a fare così tardi!’ (‘Don’t get into the habit of being so late!’)

Nonna, un ti dimenticare di metterti i’ vezzo.’ (‘Grandma, don’t forget to put on your pearls.’)

 

 

Vènvia

Come on.

Example: ‘Vènvia! Un dire bischerate!’ (‘Come on! Don’t say stupid stuff!’)
