Beccassi: To meet one another.

 

Example: ‘Allora ci si becca in piazza della Repubblica verso le 18! A dopo!’ (‘OK, let’s meet in piazza della Repubblica around 6pm! See you later!’)

 

 

Becchettassi: To fight. 

 

Example: ‘O maremma bona, e son stati tutto i’ giorno a becchettassi pe’ decidere quante valige portare!’ (‘Oh good God, they were fighting all day about how many suitcases to bring!’)

 

 

Fare i’ busco: To win or to earn a lot of money; to hit the jackpot. 

 

Example: ‘Certo che con quel negozio l’ha fatto i’ busco, vai!’ (‘He sure hit the jackpot when he opened that store!’)
