Since 1973, Eugenio Provaroni and his American wife, Jane Dengler, have designed and hand made exquisite, often one of a kind, contemporary leather and metal belts in the old Florentine tradition. Their small workshop is located in an 11th-century tower; in the rear of the shop one can see them at work as they turn their creative ideas into various states of reality. This work-shop is one of the few in which wares are still made on the premises. Both Eugenio and Jane are very conscious of the envi-ronment and use products in their natural states, when possible.  Whenever I wear one of their belts, I truly feel special.
