A futuristic thriller warning of the dangers of human cloning and the harvesting of spare body parts, with a strong cast not quite succeeding in enlivening a structurally unsound movie of two philosophically unreconciled halves.  The two attractive protagonists Lincoln Six Echo (Ewan McGregor) and Jordan Two Delta (Scarlet Johansson) are dispensable soulless clones of the rich and famous on the run from bounty hunters bent on their elimination.  Plenty of opportunity then for Michael Bay (he made Pearl Harbor and Armageddon) to develop his stock-in-trade thrills and spills, but not without some existential profundity.
