The remains of several Etruscan tombs and other structural complexes that date back to the 7th century BCE were recently discovered at the Archaeological Park of Cortona, south of Arezzo. About 100 objects, including urns, bowls, spears and a skeleton, were found inside the structures. The discovery will shed significant light on Etruscan society in the Cortona area, and further excavations are being made.
